CBSE Invites Online Application For Private Exams 2018

Bhubaneswar: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited online application for Class X and XII students who want to appear for compartment or improvement exams scheduled to be held in March 2018.


Candidates who have either failed or are not eligible for improvement of performance can apply for the compartment or improvement exams. These students will appear as private candidates in the board exams.
Eligibility, fee and detailed procedure of submitting the online application are described in the Annexures on official website www.cbse.nic.in.

Fee structure:
1. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 900 for five subjects before November 27, 2017
2. Fee for an additional subject for private candidates is Rs 180
3. Fee for practicals and projects is Rs 80


Blind candidates of All India Scheme and Delhi Scheme are exempted from payment of fees.
Details of students, who had appeared for the Board examination in 2017, will auto-generate in the online system for private examination.
However, candidates of 2016 or prior will have to submit details on the application form.
As per the official notification, if a candidate provides wrong information in his/her application form or produces a false document, application of the candidate will be rejected.



Admit Card:
(a) For other than Delhi region: Candidates will have to download admit card from www.cbse.nic.in in February 2018.
(b) For candidates of Delhi region: Intimation letter with mention of centre of examination and date sheet will be uploaded on the CBSE website in January or February. Thereafter candidates can collect admit card from the allotted examination centre.

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited applications from eligible female students for the scholarship  who passed the Class-X examination from CBSE affiliated schools in 2017.
As per a notification released by the board, female students who have secured above 60 percent or 6.2 CGPA and above in the Class-X examinations this year can apply for the scholarship.

The notification stated that girls with the said scores, who are studying in schools affiliated to the CBSE, will be considered for the scholarship. However, the tuition fees of the school must not exceed Rs 1,500 per month, the notification added. Non-Resident Indians (NRI) students can also apply, but the monthly fee for them should not exceed Rs 6,000.




The online forms will be available till November 15. Interested students need to key in roll number and certificate number online. A print out of the same should be posted to the scholarship unit of the CBSE by November 30.
